Bad World Big Shot, na een eerste mini Cd in 2004 werd het nu tijd voor een Full Cd van deze Belgische Roots & Rockabilly Band.

Onder invloed van de "Engelse Belg" Mark 'Sprex' Spreckley hebben "The Rhumba Kings" zich opgewerkt tot een statement in de Belgische Roots Rock & Rockabilly scene. Met deze full CD bewijzen deze heren dan ook dat ze er staan en hoe...Bad World Big Shot is hoofdzakelijk eigen werk en geeft een duidelijke weergave hoe de Rhumba Kings klinken

The Devil's Curse, het openingsnummer van deze CD is al dadelijk een parel van een instrumentaaltje en zal ook door menige DJ's ingebruikt worden als intro van de avond. Toch indien ze al van in het begin de sfeer er willen inbrengen. Dat The Rhumba Kings sterk bezig zijn bewijzen ze dan ook al meteen met Louisville...High Energy Rockabilly!!!

Man In The Mirror was al een "obligaat" op de concerts van de Kings en is voor een toch eerder Bluesfanaat als mezelf een aangenaam en swingend nummer en blijft lang in je hoofd nazinderen. "Title Song" Bad Worl Big Shot zal zeker en vast de "crowd" de titel doen meeroepen en brengt de ambiance er steevast in.

Met Bitter Tears zitten we al aan song #9 en klinkt al dadelijk vertrouwd of zijn de Rhumba Kings dan toch zo goed? Come Back Baby...houdt deze party dan niet op? Sterk... Been So long lijkt dan weer rechtuit de Nashville studio's te komen en bewijst hoe deze CD gevarieerd blijft.

'Man in The Mirror' was already 'obligatory' on the concert of the Kings and is for a Blueslover like me, a pleasant and swinging number and remains a long time in your head. Title song' Bad World Big Shot' certainly will make the crowd singing along the title and will bring a lot of atmosphere.

'Come back baby'... does this part never stops? Really cooking... 'Been so Long' seems to come straight out of the Nashville studios and proves how this CD remains varied.
